»Neymeyer in Columbus, Ohio.«
On April 5, 1886 Albert Neymeyer settled from Tunsel, Germany to Columbus, Ohio. On the right you can see the "Certificate of Naturalization":
"... Alber Neymeyer a native of Baden, Germany having in all respects complied with the laws of the United States, and that he abolutely and entirely renounced and abjured all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Soverignty; ad particularly to William Emperor of Germany whose subject he has heretofore been; was duly admitted by said Court to become a Citizen of the United States of Ameria, And is therefore entitled to all the Rights and Privileges of a naturalized citizen.
In Testemony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Seal of the Probate Court, at Columbus, Ohio, this Fifth day of April, A.D. 1886."
